PROGRAM PLANNER STATIONS Use any of the following information to search for sessions • Keyword • Session Code • Title • Topic Area • Instructional Level • Session Format • Session Type • Date • Author Name • Special Audience DOWNLOAD THE CONVENTION APP Take the complete ASHA Convention program with you anywhere by downloading the app to your smartphone or tablet. Use the app to search the entire program on-the-go, or create and save a personalized schedule. The app integrates seamlessly with the Program Planner, so anything you save is viewable on both platforms after you create an account using your ASHA.org login. Other features include access to advance handouts and/ or final presentation slides (if shared by presenters), space to take session notes, exhibitor profiles, floor plans with a location finder, social media feeds, shuttle tracking, and much more. The app is your one-stop resource for the ASHA Convention. Use the QR code or the mobile responsive URL to download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play: http://m.core-apps.com/dl/asha2018 If you haven’t already used the Program Planner to search for sessions and build your own schedule, you can do so while at the Convention. Complete session details contained in the Program Planner include the following: • Date, time, and location • Instructional level • PDHs/CEUs • An abstract summary and learning objectives • Author names and biographies • Author disclosures Once you have reviewed the session details, you may sign in through the ASHA website and use the Program Planner to build and save your own schedule. If you do not have an account through www.asha.org, you may create one. View or Print Advance Handouts Many speakers have made handouts available for viewing or downloading in advance of the Convention. To view handouts in the Program Planner, select the title of the session to open the pop-up box that provides full session details. Keep in mind that handouts/materials will be available only if the presenter has agreed to make them available to the public. Final presentations, if permission is granted by authors, will be posted to the Program Planner following the Convention. Continuing Education (CE) Credit Reporting Access to ASHA CE’s Online Course Registration System will be available beginning Thursday, November 15, at the Program Planner Stations to enable you to track and report the credit you’ve earned at the Convention. You will log into a secure website and enter each completed session. You may wish to use the schedule you’ve built in the Program Planner to help you keep track of the sessions you’ve attended. For more information about CE credit, refer to page 74. Staff in the Information Booths, located throughout the Convention Center, are available to answer your questions about CE at the ASHA Convention.
