2018 ASHA CONVENTION PROGRAM BOOK • 39 GENERAL INFORMATION Lactation Room Please see the Personal Consideration Rooms section for information for nursing mothers. Lost and Found ASHA is not responsible for items lost during the Convention, nor is ASHA responsible for returning found items to attendees. Found items brought to an Information Booth will be held at that booth for the remainder of the day; at the end of the day, the items will be brought to the ASHA Convention staff office. When the Convention concludes on Saturday, all unclaimed items will be turned over to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. It is the respon- sibility of attendees to follow up with the convention center to retrieve lost items. To inquire about a lost item after the ASHA Convention, please contact the BCEC Command Center at 617-954-2222. The convention center’s online form (available at www.signatureboston.com/attend/lost-and- found) allows you to file a report and receive a case ID for any lost items. Per BCEC’s Lost and Found policy, found items that go unclaimed with no obvious monetary or sentimental value will be held for 14 days. Property of an estimated value up to $250 with no obvious sentimental value will be held for 60 days. Property of an estimated value of over $250, or with obvious sentimental value, will be kept for 1 year. If item(s) are not retrieved within these time frames, the item(s) will be purged from the convention center’s property storage. Lounges A number of designated lounge spaces for groups to gather and rest in between sessions are located throughout the Convention Center. These spaces are available for you to recharge and connect with colleagues and friends who share similar interests. See page 54 for more details. Luggage and Coat Check CC, Ground Level (Near shuttle drop-off) An area is available at the Convention Center where coats and luggage may be stored (fees apply). Meetings A number of ASHA Board, Committee, and Council meetings—as well as affiliate meetings, open houses, and receptions—are held during the ASHA Convention. Each day, the published schedule of meetings and receptions will be listed in the Daily Update program addenda, available at the Information Booths and at Registration. Overflow Rooms Networked session rooms give attendees instant access to overflow rooms for popular at-capacity sessions. If a session room reaches capacity, staff or student volunteers will direct attendees to one of the overflow rooms or areas where the audio feed from the session will be broadcast. See more information about Overflow Rooms on page 70 and Session Room Behavior and Attendee Etiquette on page 44.
