Take a moment to self-identify and broaden your professional reach—making a lasting difference in the lives of your clients and your community. Self-identifying as a BSP offers you increased marketability with a distinct competitive advantage, access to a broader set of clients/patients, and potential for increased earning. BSP self-identification demonstrates to the public that you are uniquely qualified to help underserved communities. BSPs are in a strong position to serve as a community resource, increase the likelihood that clients will receive services they might not otherwise access, and provide a meaningful extra layer of care by communicating in clients’ native languages. Have you self-identified as a Bilingual Service Provider? Visit the ASHA Member Services Center and self-identify today! Join a Special Interest Group Today! ASHA’s 19 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) showcase a range of topics across the communication sciences and disorders discipline and offer great membership benefits.
