Key dates and deadlines for the 2019 ASHA Convention are listed below to help you in your planning.

January 29                  The Call for Papers opens.
Mid-March TBA Advance booth selection for companies who exhibited at the 2018 ASHA Convention.
Late March TBA Exhibit Hall booth sales open.
April 1 The function space request form is available for exhibitors and affiliate groups to reserve space to hold meetings or events during the ASHA Convention.
April 1 The student volunteer application is available.
April 4 The Call for Papers closes. (Late submissions not considered.)
May 15 Deadline to submit an application to be future co-chair.
July 22 Notifications of acceptance/nonacceptance for the Call for Papers are sent.
July 22 Program available for viewing via the Program Planner and mobile app.
August 1 
August 31 Early bird registration rates end.
September 1 Advance registration rates apply.
September 5 Deadline for student volunteer applications.
September 30 Advance registration rates end.
October 1 Regular registration rates apply.
October 3 Student volunteer applicants notified of acceptance/nonacceptance.
October 23 Badges and registration materials begin mailing for those who opted to receive them in advance when registering.
October 29 Deadline to reserve a hotel room through ASHA’s official housing service.
October 31 Regular registration rates end.
November 1 Onsite registration rates apply.
November 20 Continuing education reporting system opens for claiming ASHA Convention sessions for credit.
December 1 Deadline to report attendance at sessions for continuing education credit.

About the Convention

The ASHA Convention is one of the largest professional development events for audiologists; speech-language pathologists; and speech, language, and hearing scientists. Bringing together approximately 15,000 attendees, the annual Convention offers more than 2,500 sessions eligible for ASHA continuing education credit covering the latest research, clinical skills, and techniques in communication sciences and disorders.
