ASHA's housing service will close on Thursday, October 26. After that date, our housing provider will begin transferring all reservations data to the hotels. Beginning Monday, November 6, reservation changes and cancellations must be made directly with your hotel.
If you have any questions about making hotel reservations for the ASHA Convention, or encounter any difficulties with the reservations system, please contact the ASHA Housing Center by email at ASHAHotel@maritz.com or by phone at 864-208-2571 (M–F, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time). You may also find our step-by-step guide to the hotel reservations system with screen images [PDF] helpful.
Use the resources below to preview the ASHA hotels:
Room types are requests and are not guaranteed by the hotels. Room rates are per night and do not include taxes and fees, which are subject to change. All official ASHA Convention hotels comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act. (Read more about accessibility at ASHA's live events for information about reasonable requests for accommodations.)
Although your ASHA account number is not required to make hotel reservations, we strongly encourage you to provide it to help us track housing information. If you do not have your ASHA account information on hand when you make your reservations, you can add it later by logging back into the reservations system.
Sometimes, a hotel may not have availability for the entire length of your stay. Although the main nights (Thursday and Friday of the ASHA Convention) might be available, the hotel may have limited availability on the nights of your stay that fall before or after the main nights. In this instance, you will see the Waitlist icon appear, and you will be able to complete your reservation. Please allow up to one week for us to work with the hotels to clear waitlist requests before you book an alternate reservation.
Once you have completed your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email from email_confirm@confmail.experient-inc.com. Be sure to check your junk or spam folder and add this address to your safe senders.
After securing housing accommodations, attendees can log into the Housing Attendee Service Center to modify or cancel the reservation (link available after August 1). Reservation changes or cancellations can be made with Maritz through Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Use the link in your confirmation message to access the Housing Attendee Service Center or email customer service at ASHAHotel@maritz.com.
Hotel cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellation within 3 days, or failure to check in on your scheduled day of arrival will result in a one-night's room and tax penalty charged by the hotel to the credit card used for guarantee. In addition, be sure to verify check out dates at check-in as an early check-out may result in an early-departure fee. Beginning Monday, November 6, 2023, changes and cancellations must be made directly with your hotel.
Cancelling a hotel room does not automatically cancel your ASHA Convention registration, and cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel room. If you need to cancel, be sure to follow the cancellation process for both registration and hotel reservations individually.
A forum to help you find a roommate has been set up on the ASHA Community site. (Please note that the ASHA Community is restricted to ASHA members and NSSLHA members only.)
Both Convention attendees and the association benefit when you book a hotel room through ASHA. Here's how:
Sometimes, ASHA is alerted that an unauthorized housing company is contacting our exhibitors or attendees to inform them that they can offer less expensive room rates at hotels in our block. You may also encounter fraudulent websites promoting housing reservations for ASHA. Maritz Global Events is the only official housing company for ASHA. They will not solicit you and you can only navigate to their hotel reservations website through our own website, convention.asha.org. If you receive a call or e-mail from any company that is not our official housing provider or find a suspicious website, please contact us immediately at convention@asha.org.
The 2023 ASHA Convention will be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210.
The Boston area is served by Logan International Airport (BOS). ASHA does not provide airport ground transportation. Taxis, ride app services such as Lyft and Uber, and airport shuttles are all readily available at the airport to transport you downtown. You can also take advantage of the free MBTA Blue Line or Silver Line buses that go downtown.
North Station in Boston is served by Amtrak trains, commuter trains, and MBTA buses. South Station is also served by these rail services and MBTA buses, as well as many regional bus carriers (i.e., Greyhound, MegaBus, Concord Trailways, etc.).
The MBTA operates the subway system (the "T"), a commuter rail system, buses and ferries in the Greater Boston region. The convention center is at the World Trade Center stop on the Silver Line of the "T."
For those arriving by car, ample parking is available in garages near the Convention Center for a daily fee (plan for $25+).
Free shuttles are provided to and from the convention center and the ASHA hotels that are not walking distance. ADA shuttle service equipped with a wheelchair lift is also available.
An ADA-accessible shuttle equipped with a wheelchair lift will be available for all ASHA hotels and any official ASHA event (i.e., ASHFoundation Fundraiser or the ASHA PAC Reception) for attendees with mobility issues. Those who use scooters can use the standard shuttle service; shuttle staff will help stow scooters in the cargo area of the shuttle. Scooters and wheelchairs are available for rent from Scootaround.
The following travel discounts are available for the 2023 ASHA Convention. Discounts are valid for the destination only (Boston Airport – BOS) and applicable from November 10 to November 22 (three days before and three days after the event).

The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) has put together an excellent guide for attendees with tons of useful information [PDF]. It covers how to get to the convention center, getting around the convention center with floorplans, a map of the Seaport District neighborhood, where to eat, services you will find at the convention center, and more. We recommend giving it a read to help you prepare for your visit to the ASHA Convention in Boston.
