Proposals appropriate for submission to this topic area include those that focus on the etiologies, characteristics, prevention, assessment, and intervention of speech sound disorders in children with normal hearing. Interprofessional education, practice, and/or research that addresses the implementation of interprofessional competencies within curricular or practice models or the evaluation of collaborative care outcomes specific to speech sound disorders should also be included in this topic area. Additionally, considerations for multilingual/multicultural proposals as well as proposals addressing neurodiverse populations.
