Membership Status and Categories

To make your ASHA Convention registration experience as easy as possible, check your membership status (you must register using your current membership category) and make sure your dues are current.

If you register using a different member category than what is currently in your ASHA account, your registration cannot be processed until this problem is resolved, and mailing of your Convention materials may be delayed. If you have questions regarding your membership or dues, call the ASHA Action Center at 800-498-2071.

How You Can Join ASHA

Read more about the various types of ASHA membership and benefits, then complete and submit the application that corresponds to your membership type or call the ASHA Action Center at 800-498-2071 for more information or assistance.

If you plan to join ASHA to take advantage of a member rate for your ASHA Convention registration, call the ASHA Action Center first to check the status of your application. If your membership has not been processed at the time you need to register (such as by September 30 to take advantage of the Early Bird discounted rate), you should pay the fee that applies to you at the time you register.

Email registration@asha.org for more information about membership status changes, status change deadlines, and registration refunds. ASHA membership applications cannot be accepted onsite at the ASHA Convention, nor can refunds for registration category adjustments be issued onsite. You will receive a credit card refund or check refund in the mail after Convention.
