The ASHA Certification Lounge is the place to learn more about the certification process, the current certification standards, certification maintenance, as well as any upcoming changes. Specialty Certification Boards
Interested in obtaining an ASHA-recognized specialty certification? Clinical Specialty Certification enables an audiologist or a speech-language pathologist with advanced knowledge, skills, and experience beyond the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to be formally identified as a Board Certified Specialist (BCS) in a specific area of clinical practice. Stop by the Specialty Certification Lounge to learn more about becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Intraoperative Monitoring (BCS-IOM), Child Language (BCS-CL), Fluency and Fluency Disorders (BCS-F), or Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (BCS-S).
