ASHA Audiology Square
Stop by the Audiology Square to meet up with colleagues, grab a snack to recharge, enjoy some infused water, and if your devices need a charging boost, we can help you with that, too. The ASHA Audiology staff team will be available to chat and answer your questions. Additionally, we will have a representative from the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing available to speak with you on Thursday, November 17th.
ASHA Certification Lounge
The ASHA Certification Lounge is the place to learn more about the certification process, the current certification standards, certification maintenance, as well as any upcoming changes. In the Certification Lounge, you will also be able to learn more about Clinical Specialty Certification and the Assistants Certification Program from staff and members of the Council for Clinical Certification.

ASHA Continuing Education—or ASHA CE for short—is here to help you with your continuing education needs! Whether you want to earn ASHA Continuing Education Units (ASHA CEUs), find courses, organize and secure your course records, or seamlessly maintain your ASHA certification or state licensure, we’ve got you covered. Drop by the ASHA CE Lounge and snap a picture at our CE Cafe photo station, where you can satisfy your “appétit pour l'éducation”! ASHA CE team members will be there and can help with your questions.

ASHA Multicultural Affairs Square
ASHA’s Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) addresses the influence of cultural and linguistic diversity as it relates to professional preparation and service delivery in audiology and speech-language pathology. The Multicultural Affairs Square provides the opportunity to explore ASHA resources related to culturally responsive practice and learn more about how to get involved in furthering DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) efforts in our professions and across the discipline.
ASHA Public Relations Lounge

Visit the ASHA Public Relations Lounge to learn more about ASHA’s outreach to the public; help select a potential new name and time for Better Hearing and Speech Month; participate in ASHA’s Value of the CCCs campaign photo opportunity, historically an attendee favorite; sign up to become an ASHA media source; and access downloadable resources for your own public outreach and clinical care. Also, as part of our Real Stories PSA campaign, we are looking to film short video interviews with ASHA members showcasing their most memorable patient/client/student success story. Interested in obtaining an ASHA-recognized specialty certification? Clinical Specialty Certification enables an audiologist or a speech-language pathologist with advanced knowledge, skills, and experience beyond the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to be formally identified as a Board Certified Specialist (BCS) in a specific area of clinical practice. Stop by the Specialty Certification Lounge to learn more about becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Intraoperative Monitoring (BCS-IOM), Child Language (BCS-CL), Fluency and Fluency Disorders (BCS-F), or Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (BCS-S).
