Two Floors of Exhibits

More than 300 unique businesses exhibit each year, making the ASHA Convention an exceptional one-stop opportunity for attendees to find practice solutions and for exhibitors to reach ASHA members and related professionals. We will have two floors of exhibits this year at the Seattle Convention Center. Exhibit Halls will be located on Level 2 and on the Exhibit Level in the Summit Building.

ASHA Lounges and Booths

In the hall you’ll find ASHA lounges and booths like the ASHA Audiology Practices booth, the ASHA SLP Practices lounge, the ASHA Office of Multicultural Affairs lounge and the ASHA Academic, Research, & International lounge where you can discover resources, chat with ASHA staff about programs and initiatives, or meet colleagues who share your interests.

Community Service in the Caring Square

From Thursday through Saturday during the ASHA Convention, the Caring Square will offer a fun and unique way for attendees to give back to the local community. The Caring Square is open during Exhibit Hall hours, and activities are designed so participants can jump in whenever they have some free time. Professional facilitators will be on hand to provide guidance and instruction.

Project: Resident therapy care kits/custom decorated tote bag for residents for Abused Deaf Women's Advocacy Services

Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services empowers Deaf and DeafBlind survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and harassment to transform their lives, while striving to change the beliefs and behaviors that foster and perpetuate violence. We provide comprehensive services to individuals and families, community education, and advocacy on systems and policy issues.

Project: Survivor love letters and sunshine boxes for API Chaya

API Chaya empowers survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking to gain safety, connection, and wellness. We build power by educating and mobilizing South Asian, Asian, Pacific Islander, and all immigrant communities to end exploitation, creating a world where all people can heal and thrive.

Project: Hand-crafted holiday decorations to brighten shelters during the holiday season for Compass Housing Alliance

Compass Housing Alliance develops and provides essential services, shelter, and affordable housing so that everyone in our community has a safe place to call home. We envision a world in which every person lives in a safe, caring community.

Project: Hand-painted aprons for Hunger Intervention Program

The mission of the Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) is to increase food security for underserved populations in North King County through nutritious meals, educational programs, and advocacy. Our vision is nutritious food that is accessible to everyone in our community.

Project: Cuddle Buddies (stuffed animals) and custom decorated t-shirts for Seattle Children's Hospital

For more than 100 years, Seattle Children’s Hospital has specialized in meeting the unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of children from infancy through young adulthood. Through the collaboration of physicians in nearly 60 pediatric subspecialties, we provide inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, surgical, rehabilitative, behavioral, emergency and outreach services—regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

About ASHA

About the Convention

The ASHA Convention is one of the largest professional development events for audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; and speech-language pathology and audiology assistants. Bringing together approximately 15,000 attendees, the annual Convention offers more than 2,500 sessions eligible for ASHA continuing education credit covering the latest research, clinical skills, and techniques in communication sciences and disorders.
