The ASHA Convention isn’t just for seasoned professionals—there are lots of activities for students, too.
Attend education sessions to augment your studies, while also participating in a wide variety of activities to expand your network and delve into the professional world of communication sciences and disorders.
The Program Planner and mobile app allow you to search by topic to find sessions that interest you. You can also search by special audience to find sessions identified by the Convention Program Committee to be of interest to students; filter by instructional level to find introductory sessions; or search by author to locate presentations by faculty or fellow students whom you know.

networking and social events allow time to meet up with friends and fellow students as well as to make connections with CSD professionals. From the Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall to open houses, there are plenty of opportunities for fun while at the ASHA Convention. You are especially encouraged to join us at the First-Timers’ Welcome on Wednesday, November 20 at 5:00 p.m. to learn about the ASHA Convention and meet others attending for the first time.
