    Date Availability

If you are reserving a room online and find that a hotel appears to be sold out, it may be that rooms are not available for the entire range of dates you have selected. This sometimes happens when attendees try to arrive early in the week or stay later after the Convention has concluded. You may wish to try adjusting your dates to see if the other dates you need are available at your desired hotel. If they are, you can make a reservation for the available dates and e-mail with your reservation number and the additional dates requested. Wait Listing a Hotel

Attendees also have the option of adding their name to a wait list if a first choice hotel is no longer available for their selected dates. In order to be added to a hotel's wait list, you must make a valid reservation at an available hotel for your desired dates. You will be notified if a room becomes available at your first choice hotel.

All official ASHA Convention hotels comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act. If you need an accessible hotel room, please complete the reservation process online and select "Handicap Accessible" at the step where you may indicate room preferences. Why Book a Room Through ASHA?

Both Convention attendees and the association benefit when you book a hotel room through ASHA. Here's how:

    • Convention attendees staying at official ASHA hotels can use ASHA's convenient shuttle service.
    • ASHA is able to negotiate lower room rates at a range of quality hotels.
    • ASHA hotel contracts protect you, and we can provide assistance if problems arise with your reservation.
    • Filling room blocks allows ASHA to secure competitive rates when negotiating with hotels in future Convention cities. ASHA can demonstrate that the association meets its obligations with hotels, which assures hotels that contracting with ASHA will be mutually agreeable.

If you find a lower rate at a hotel in our block than what we offer, please contact ASHA's housing provider (

    Unauthorized Housing Providers

Sometimes, ASHA is alerted that an unauthorized housing company is contacting our exhibitors or attendees to inform them that they can offer less expensive room rates at hotels in our block. Spargo, Inc. is the only official housing company for ASHA. If you receive a call or e-mail from any company that is not our official housing provider, please contact us immediately at
