Registration and housing for the 2024 ASHA Convention in Seattle, Washington will open on August 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., Eastern time.

ASHA's official and only registration and housing provider is Maritz Global Events. Please be wary of unsolicited calls and emails regarding hotel reservations or registration, or websites offering these services that are not directly connected to ASHA or Maritz, for the ASHA Convention. For your protection, do not make hotel reservations through any other company or website claiming to offer rooms for the ASHA Convention.

2024 Registration Options and What’s Included

Full In-Person Registration*

  • Earn continuing education credit at any 1-hour oral seminar, technical research session, technical clinical session, or poster presentation taking place at the in-person ASHA Convention.
  • Admittance to the Exhibit Hall, including the Exhibitor Demonstration Stations, Caring Square activities, and coffee breaks.
  • Attendance at the Opening General Session, Awards Ceremony, and Closing General Session, and other (non-ticketed) social events
  • Earn continuing education credit for any on-demand/virtual technical session, technical demo, or poster presentation that you watch between November 20–December 10.

One-Day In-Person Registration*

  • Earn continuing education credit for any in-person 1-hour oral seminar, technical research session, technical clinical session, or poster presentation you attend on your selected day
  • Admittance to the Exhibit Hall on your selected day
  • Attendance at the Opening General Session, Awards Ceremony, or Closing General Session if taking place on your selected day

You must select the day you will attend (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) when you register. Please note that hours vary per day, so we recommend checking the Schedule at a Glance before you register so you know what will take place on your selected day.

IMPORTANT: One-day registration does NOT include the opportunity to earn continuing education for on-demand/virtual-only sessions.

Virtual-Only Registration

(Registration closes on December 7.)

  • Earn continuing education credit for any on-demand/virtual technical session, technical demo, or poster presentation that you watch between November 20–December 10 for a low-cost registration fee. A limited selection of in-person sessions taking place at the ASHA Convention in Seattle will also be broadcasted live (slides and audio only) to the virtual platform.

*In-person registrants may opt to add tickets (extra fees apply) for pre-convention workshops, short courses, ASHA Eats cards, ticketed receptions, t-shirts, or ASHA Store coupons. Tickets may be subject to availability. Some tickets options are not offered for one-day registrants.

ADA Assistance

We are committed to making the in-person ASHA Convention accessible to all individuals. If you have a disability, as identified by the Americans With Disabilities Act, and anticipate needing assistance while onsite at the ASHA Convention, please indicate, when registering, the area(s) in which you will need assistance. Once the registration process is complete, you will be contacted by an ASHA Staff member to gather more information about the accessibility accommodations you are requesting.

Requests for reasonable accommodations at our in-person event should be made as early as possible, and well in advance of the event dates, so we may best meet individual needs. We may be unable to fully accommodate requests received after November 18. Requests made onsite will be fulfilled to the best of our ability; however, resources may be limited.

The ASHA Convention is one of the largest professional development events for audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; and speech-language pathology and audiology assistants. Bringing together approximately 15,000 attendees, the annual Convention offers more than 2,500 sessions eligible for ASHA continuing education credit covering the latest research, clinical skills, and techniques in communication sciences and disorders.
